What are the significant difference between the two? I'm looking at a 19FBS and a 21FBRS.

There are too many differences to list.
IMHO, the biggest is one is single axle and the other has tandem axles. Tandem axles are way better than a single axle.
The MicroLite is longer and has a higher CCC.
It would help if you posted the specs of your tow vehicle.
MicroLites are the bigger and better sibling, to the EPro.
In case you didn't know, the Rockwood MiniLite and GeoPro trailers are the exact twins to the Flagstaffs. Only differences are exterior decals and interior decor. Plus there are way more Rockwood dealers than Flagstaff dealers.

We went through a similar scenario. We started our search and original intentions on a Geopro 20BHS. We ended up buying a Minilite 2509s.

If size is important to you—either direction—that’s going to be the main factor.

Main reasons we went with the bigger trailer

1)stability, better sight distributing: tandem axles
2) little more space as we intend on adding little ones/having family join us
3)$/lb you get more with the slightly bigger trailer and we don’t do really any boondocking or camping where a smaller footprint matters.
4) we could easily upgrade tow vehicles at the time from midsize to half ton.
5) bonus…we LOVE having the ducted AC

Hope this helps

Yea, ducted a/c is a BIG plus, compared to the Blast from the Center a/c in the EPro.

OP, have you been in either model, in person?

Another difference is the weight of the trailer and the hitch weight.

What will you be using to towing with?

Welcome to the forum!

Just my 2 cents, we looked at the 21FBRS and really liked it. Then we looked at and ended up with the 22FBS which is a very close floorplan to the 21FBRS. Reasons were a large pantry, windows in the slide ends, a full queen bed, and fireplace. Only 18" longer and a little heavier but well worth it. Towed like a dream behind our 2020 Tundra Limited with the Equal-i-zer 4 point sway control hitch. Again just my 2 cents, good luck with your decision.

I can vouch for that! Central blast is pretty loud. Being pretty deaf helps. Not an issue unless you are trying to hear TV or wife. Key word 'trying', lol. The PROs of my single axle is I only have two tires to replace when they age out, and only two sets of wheel bearing to service. Cons are heavy tongue weight limits tow vehicle options to those that can accommodate. I love the Microlite, my FROG pals next to me had a brand new one at a rally last summer, MUCH more expensive than my GeoPro though. Another advantage to epro/geopro, is you can have the off road package, which although does not make it a true off road vehicle (like the new Pause TT), it does help, especially the increased ground clearance.

Awesome everyone. thanks

Have been in a e-pro 19FBS. then stubbled upon a 21FBRS and liked it, but havent touched that one as its a few hours away.

towing with a 1 ton GMC 3500, so weight is no issue.

leaning towards the micro lite if the numbers jive.

Thanks

I've had both. I owned a Rockwood Geo Pro G20BHS (same as E Pro E20BHS) and I absolutely loved that trailer. It was super easy to tow, quality was great, and it checked all of the boxes for us (beds, a dinette, a dry bath, and a kitchenette).

However, when trailer camping, we found that we were inside much more than expected - be it to escape summer heat and have an air conditioned lunch, or inside during a passing rain squall. It was too tight for the 4 of us plus dog to hang out in.

We moved up to a Micro Lite 25BRDS. The extra foot of width is very noticeable, plus moving to a north/south bed, rather than east/west was a game changer for my wife and I. The kids love their double bunks, and when the murphy bed is put up, the sofa, in addition to the U shaped dinette, provide plenty of room for us to hang out in.

The Micro Lite really just takes the things we loved about the Geo Pro and takes them up a notch. We absolutely love it.

My only downside in moving up is that the Geo Pro was far easier to tow. The added width of the 25BRDS is really noticeable in my parking pad/carport at home, and I can really feel the weight much more, especially on windy days. Not at all prohibitive, and well worth the tradeoff, but I do miss how easily the Geo Pro would tow behind my truck.

Getting ready to retire our 2013 21FBRS after all these years probably camping 10 x each of those years for 3-10 days at a pop. Fantastic camper for 2 with 2 dog crates for people that love being outside (yes even during Florida summers - just camped at springs or water front to stay cool). Was a fantastic first camper; loved the front window view (mandatory for front & rear windows on our new choice), the double axle safety & the ability to get to bathroom & frig while traveling allowed a cat to camp with us a couple of those years as we would take a 30-60 minute break every couple hours to give her some trailer time while walking dogs & stretching our legs.

Had to make some things up for repairs (so far so good) and Forest River (& this great group of people) has been such a great company to deal with - helped us decide on the 2608BS for our move up camper with better all weather ability and set for longer travels around the country in retirement. PM me if you want to hear any more wonderful stories about my great camper (or just check the threads for show us your camper for each of those years... plenty of our posts there!)
