I was going over the windows to reseal and I noticed this significant gap/ missing piece(?) on the rear emergency window. So, is this the way it’s supposed to look or is something indeed missing?. IMG_1402.jpgIMG_1403.jpgIMG_1404.jpg

Looks like the outside gasket has either shrunk or was cut slightly too short. Shouldn’t be a problem as all gaskets have a gap, and that’s why they’re at the bottom. I personally would leave it alone and when it’s raining, look carefully and confirm nothing comes in. If you’re impatient, use a hose (don’t blast it at the gap) and see if anything comes in.

That looks like all exterior views of the window; so not the push/pull lever as that is on the interior.

Looks more like a poor job done on cutting and installing the window gasket to the window frame.

Thank for the input and I hope the photo did not make it seem like the latch was missing. I’ve added a new photo from the inside. I use a reflective window cover which is what you all see.

I plan to use the water hose test because this is a big gap. Once bitten,....My last RV had hidden leaks causing black mold and rot. Not good for resale. Adjustments.jpg
