Does anyone have the part number for the seats that come from the factory on the M2-112 based Dynaquests?

I have an older Dynamax with new Bostrom Wide Ride seats (that I hate) and my dad just picked up a new Dynaquest and I like the seats a lot better.

Or, does anyone know of a shop that stocks seats in San Diego?

Thanks!

Don't know about San Diego area but I would think a quick contact to the local Freightliner dealer would be a beginning source.

Yeah, I am hoping @bclemens or someone else has the exact part number as I'm sure there a number of trims an M2 seat comes in... :)

We don't really have trim levels for seats. We made all M2 seats the same a few years back.

We just use the stock seat from Freightliner and have it recovered in matching material. They did make a change from National Seats to Isringhausen seats in the last year.

PS: you can get them from Freightliner in gray, black or tan. We don't carry the seats, as we just reuse what comes in on the chassis.

Got it, when looking for the seats there were a few model numbers listed so I thought there may be a specific model number. I'll call around.

Thanks

FL did have options I as I recall. We bought what they called "the elite high back"

Finally someone besides me that hates the wide ride seats!!! I spent so much on these only to get the worst backache in history on a trip with them. Went back to stock. No problems with the stock ones!

Everyone on here raves about the wide ride. Not me. And now not you! Cool deal, I know it’s not just me now!

We can start a club LOL

A little info about the Bostrum seats? I have been thinking about swapping out the seats.
Mind explaining what you don't like about them? The factory seats are not very comfy for me after about 300 miles or so.
Has anyone had the factory seats recovered?

For whatever reason they don't work for my back or butt. I'm 6'7" 290lbs so not a small guy but the bottoms are firm, don't have enough rake and the backrest feels like it has way too much arch in it even with lumbar and everything else retracted. My seat is the heated/cooled/massage so maybe that has something to do with it? Regardless they don't work for me or my wife who is 5'4" and slender?

Trying a Seats Inc in the next few weeks and will report back

We love our Bostrom Wide Ride Serta Seats. Swapped out the new factory seats in our 2021 XL for the Bostroms. Would not go back. My wife broke her back in two places in 1995 and has had trouble ever since. She was fine in the old style seats in our 2018, but once we took the first long cross country trip in the 2021 with the new factory seats she was miserable and to some extent, so was I. She could last about 20 minutes in the original 2021 seats, then she would get up and travel the rest of the way in the theater seats. That got old for me. Now with the Bostrom seats she will sit up front with me for 2 or 3 hours and be totally comfortable. She is 5 feet tall and weighs 110 on a bad day and about 105 normally. I find the Bostrom seats infinitely more adjustable than the factory seats. The bottom of the seat can be adjusted in towards the seat back or out towards the steering wheel, which I find is great because I am 6’2” tall and can adjust it to fit my leg length. Multiple adjustments in the seat back plus the massage feature add to the comfort. For us it was night and day…love em.

I'm curious if you have the heated/cooled/massage seats? I'm wondering if that could be part of the discrepancy? Clearly certain seats work better for some people than others but it seems odd for some to love and others to despise them.

I do not have the heated and cooled version. I believe all the Wide Rides have the massage feature built in…ours did and I did not specifically order that feature.

Up until your post, John was the only one who I ever saw post that he did not like the seats. That’s why he seemed a bit excited in his post that finally someone else felt the same way he did.

Yeah I had noticed that everyone seemed to rave on them as well. Not sure if it is just us, or the heated/cooled, but after 3 trips my wife won't even sit in them? Tightens her back all up. I can do a few hours but they aren't as good as what I've heard from others so on to something else we go :)

Happy to sell them for a discount to anyone who wants them :)

John, are yours the heated/cooled seats? I'm wondering if they have to add something for the cooling that makes them not as comfortable?

I had Seats, Inc Legacy LO in my FL60 toy hauler (pre M2 truck). They were very comfortable even after a 16 hour driving event outrunning a snow storm.

I miss those seats but I will say that the stock 2018 seat in the MH aren't bad either.

After mounting the Pinnacle I’m really happy. Just ordered a second. Takes a little manipulation to get them to work without the spacer but we got it done. 👍
