My sink faucet just started a minor leak at the lever - See photo. Has anyone replaced the o-ring in there? How did you access it. I removed the screw in lever and see some kind of a recessed screw, but can not make out what type. Then what, ...?

Unscrew the short lever, inside is an allen head set screw.
Loosen/remove the set screw to remove the outer chrome trim from the stem.
Once that is off, you'll see a plastic retaining nut. Once you remove the retaining nut, you'll be able to remove the cartridge and any o-rings. Be sure the water is off and the pressure released!

Thanks for your reply. I can't believe that you are the same person that just had a different "approach" to another issue. I appreciate your support.

5picker's "approach" is well documented in this forum. His support is well appreciated by lots of campers!

There are none conventional O-rings in that style. There are molded/formed rubber seals between cartridge parts. I was able to clean up all parts and used a film of vaseline to coat the rubber parts. Reassembled and it works well now.

I'm in the mountains and attempting to do as realshelby mentioned (before I just read his reply) and trying to turn the blue nut and it won't budge - using needle nose pliers. It almost looks like it needs a special tool to remove it. Any idea what I am doing possibly wrong or .... ?

I assume the 4 tabs are attached to the seals. Trying to Turn them doesn't do anything.

Disregard, it worked for removing cartridge. After removing, cleaning, reassembling, leak is even worse. I was about to cnx and gp home, but I never quit. Multiple attempts - wire brushed threads and leak is gone. No real explanation for excellent results at this point. Replacement faucet is cheap on Amazon $39 so I'll have a spare JIC. When I get home, I'll be adding 2 shutoff valves!

It's back to a slow leak again. I'll be replacing the faucet when the new one arrives in 2 days. I like the pull out design better than the OEM FR version. It's what I have at home. End of this saga, but at least not the trip.
