Fifth Wheel Insurance Cost

I'd love to see a quote for FULL coverage
And a 500.00 deductible for a $30, 000 dollar unit for less than 10.00 a month

Call Liberty Mutual, then. Maybe I'm wrong and you will be out 10 minutes call. Maybe I'm right and you save big time. FWIW I'm a teacher and get nothing out of you calling.

State Farm. Cost me about $270. a year for a 2008 Sandpiper 35 ft fiver. Also all my vehicles and boat is State Farm. I have been with them since 1970. Also get good finance rates when needed.

The best that I could do in February 2012 was $384 per year, for $300,000 single limits, other then collision $250 deductible, collision deductible $500, personal effects $3,000, with full replacement cost, not ACV for a 2012 V-Cross 275 fiver from Good Sam (GMAC)

If I may add that you can't compare $s unless you compare limits and deductibles and the replacement cost of the RV, I would think that my $29,000 fiver would be cheaper to cover then a $60,000 fiver.

We have Met Life and I pay $413 for our 2012 5er value set at 40k. I also know, with insurance, it makes a difference on where you live. Our rates in west central OH, got jacked from wind and hail damage over the past year. My policy in total jumped from $3400 to $4500/yr for $650k house, 2012 Odyssey, 2011 Silverado, and $40k Sierra with only 1 claim in 7yrs. And this is still the cheapest, last time I checked. Place of residence has a lot to do with insurance rates.

So looking at what some others are paying kinda got me worried, maybe I don't have enough coverage? I called my rep. and he said I have repair coverage, with a 100 deductable.
I also have 2 vehicles and my home with them, so I get a multi-discount.
He said if I was towing the trailer, and hit someone, my truck policy would kick in and take care of all the liability.
My trailer is also worth about 15,000. as opposed to some other rigs.

I have USAA for auto and F37SP SANDPIPER. Paying $13.00 a month $156 a year. Deductible is $500 and carry $500,000/$300,000 uninsured and medical. Glass coverage is not available. I am very happy with USAA. they will refer RV's to another company

I bought a 5th wheel (Forest River Cardinal) last July and they pushed it off to Progressive, along with my boats. Seems like all they want to do is cars and homes...

Insurance

2013 Flagstaff 5 er 30k plus awning, near $400/yr State Farm....note plus awning....they are generally not covered under basic policy.....good luck

Found out with USAA if you use the word RV, they send you to progressive. If you say travel trailer, they'll insure you.

Interesting...we have Progressive $450/yr with full replacement value package for our 5'ver :)

Bluesky RV insurance with a $500 deduct. full $$ + 1 year newer replacement value for the first 5 years then full value after that. Uninsured motorist and all that other stuff. Basicly as much coverage as I could buy.

$424 year

I have allstate but they did not have the same coverage for the same $$$.

These guys specialize in RV insurance.
