FIREFLY - Flashing Red Triangle

I’ve a 2024 Isata 3 24FWSFX. Am in middle of trip. I’ve had a flashing red triangle appear on my Firefly screen. The Error message says, “Switch Fault Detected. See Settings Page.” When I go there, nothing is out of normal as far as I can see. All systems seem to be working normally. This has happened on this trip about 4 times. Eventually the flashing red triangle disappears. I’ve emailed with Firefly Support and sent pictures of what they requested. However, today is Sunday and I won’t hear anything until tomorrow…. Anyone have an idea?

Thanks,
David

That error code usually means a dead battery in one of your switches or a switch that's somehow become unpaired.

Can you post a photo of the switch screen showing the switch statuses?

The red triangle has disappeared…. I’m not tech savvy! How do i get to switch screen. Here is photo i took Saturday when this happened if it helps.

Do you have propane on that model? It looks like the LP level sensor may be disconnected (?). Check the pins at the g12.

I don’t think the OP has LP in his motorhome. I suggest to replace the battery in your remote panel located on the bedroom wall.

Often times it is not a dead battery, just lost communication for a bit (interference). The main board, polls the switch to make sure it is there.

Firefly support came back and said the switch battery is dead. Waiting for reply from them as I don’t know where it is, what is does or battery type. I think bclemens may be right. That explains the odd coming & going of issue and fact system works fine otherwise. Thanks Brian.

Firefly responded. It is the light switch panel by bed. Uses 2032 battery. Think I’ve used twice in year+ ownership. Thanks to all from mechanically challenged RVer.

Glad it's taken care of. The switch will pull straight out from the wall and you can slide in a new CR2032 (little watch battery) and push the switch straight back into its bracket. Just make sure the + side is facing away from the circuit board.
