Happy Holidays, camper friends. I have two quick questions that I could sure use some assistance with. I own a 2015 Forest River Flagstaff 832IKBS travel trailer with the "diamond package." I have no idea what the name of my fireplace insert is, but my remote needs to be replaced and I'm trying to find one. There are many available, but not knowing the "brand" name, I'm afraid of the replacement not being compatible for my unit. Any ideas on where to find an exact replacement or a compatible one? Question # 2: When I turn on lights in my rv, I get snow on my tv reception. Some lights make it worse than others. When I program "cable" channels at a campground, then tune to the channels, the reception is a little grainy and snowy. If I turn off all switches in the camper, it clears up some, but not totally. Is there a "noise filter" or some device that I could plug into the outlet, then plug the tv into that and have it eliminate the snowy/grainy picture? Thanks to any replies that might help me. Everyone please have a safe holiday season while traveling.

The TV reception could be a bad ground somewhere and/or try the cox connections or maybe a different cable to see if it clears.
As to the fireplace insert, if factory installed is it listed on your build sheet? Or take a look at this manual, does it look like your unit? Owner's Kit

For those that are interested, you can find model specific information and manuals from 2015 to 2025 here: Owner's Kit
One caveat though, I find that the manuals shown aren't always correct (at least in my case) I suppose as sometimes different suppliers were used, but at least it's a start.

Moved thread from the Forest River FAQs section to the Appliances and Electronics sub-forum since the OP's questions are specific to that particular sub-forum and has nothing to do with FAQs.

There have been reports of certain LED lights that seem to interfere with TV reception. I don't know of any solution for it though.

Did the trailer come with a 'build sheet' that lists equipment, model #'s and manufacturer? That might help you locate the remote.

As to question #2, are those LED lights? There are some brands of LED lights that can cause interference with televisions. It's possible that you might need to replace those lights with a higher quality LEDs.
