Hello Everybody,

I have a serious problem on our Geo Pro 2019.
About 8 months ago we bought our first travel trailer from a dealership in Canada. It was preowned. A Geo Pro 2019 / G19FBS.
Recently we discovered, that a large screw was hanging loose. It is on each corner a little underneath the trailer.
The reason for this is probably rotten wood, where the screw holds the upper part to the chassie. In order to see how bad it is, we have to open the floor of the compartment.

Does anybody knwo how to open the floor of the compartment, which is above the corner with the screw. Is it possible to cut a hole in the wooden floor to repair the rotten wood part of the screw? We are afraid, that there are wires or something like that, which could be harmed. But how else are you getting to part, which is underneath?
Thanks agin for the help
🙏

Are you sure those bolts aren't there to hold a spare tire or some other modification by the prior owner? Possibly a modification that has been mostly removed?

I have those on my rig. It's where the front of the superstructure is fastened to the forward transom. From the pic it looks as though there has been some decay in the mounting.

Those screws are at all four corners. The back ones are tight. The left front is hanging loose, as seen on the picture. The right front is a little loose. I think, that someone already worked on the left front. It does not seem original. Above those front corners is the passing through compartment. As seen on the picture. The question is how to get a look at the left corner. What is underneath the floor of the passing through compartment? Wire? Water pipes?

It looks to me like it is in the outside wall of the pass through. Can you open that up right above the bolt?

yes we did. The wood of the floor was a little wet, but not rotten. As I learned, the aluminum profile is a u-shaped, which is filled with wood inside. That wood is probably rotten, because at that area the material is weak.
