Hello I just purchased a 2025 forest river Salem 178bhsk and its been sitting in my garage for a week, we are gettin ready to go on our first camping trip and the slide out will not come back in, we called the 1800 number and he said bring it in manually, but it does not have spot for the crank. Any help would be appreciated. I’m a mechanic but new to camping.

Moved thread from the Tech and Repair section to the TT/5th Wheel section's Salem sub-forum.

I’ll try and figure out how, thank you.
Not what you're figuring out, my post or your slideout.
I always recommend that members contact their brand division directly, not the FR customer service number.
I was able to speak to brand customer service, at both of the divisions that made my two trailers.

Typically the place for the crank is on the opposite side of the slide. If there is skirting on the bottom of the trailer there might be a hole to put the crank through.

I’ve looked all over, I used a creeper never saw it, I’ll be back on it in the morning.

I’ve been on the phone with them all day, they thinks it’s a battery issue.
