Forest River Cottage 40cfe 3rd Ac?

I recently purchased a 2012 Forest River Cedar Creek Cottage 40cfe. I am looking to put a 3rd Ac unit in either the front vent above the living area or the one above the kitchen area. Does any one know if either is wired for an AC unit? The Dometic control panel can control up to 4 zones so If it is pre wired I would hope that the control panel could control it as well.

Because your unit is a 2012 unit, it's unlikely you'll find someone on this forum that can answer your question. It's possible FR might know, but probably not.

If either is prewired, it most likely would be the one over the living area.
Your alternative would be a standalone room air conditioner that plugs in. You'd have to vent it through a window though.

I agree with the above post it would be much easier and probably cheaper to buy a portable A/C unit. However, there is one caveat...

Currently your A/C's are on their own circuits. So you would probably run into power problems with a portable A/C unit when trying to use your outlets for other things like a tv, coffee maker, etc.

See if you can find an original brochure, it will tell you if a 3rd A/C was an option; if it was it will more than likely be pre wired.
Edit: just checked myself, the 2nd A/C unit is an option, no 3rd.
Have you considered upgrading the existing units to Penguin 2’s or Brisk units.
