anyone having problems getting forest river to stand behind warranty issues.?our berkshire 390 bh has been in the shop 3 weeks waiting on a wiper motor , forest river says freightliner issue, freightliner says forest river issue.at least its what i can gather, finally after getting just down right rude forest river agreed they would sent part regular ground.. after more pleasant coversations ha ha they decided they would sent it overnight.has anybody had to be this way to get forest river to stand behind there products ? 3 weeks in the shop and they still contend its not there fault for not sending part in the beginning.

Forest River warranty

In that the chassis arrives without a windshield (Stripped) I would think that Forest River is responsible. I've had issues with other Manufacturers and found that the dealer needs to push the issue also. If you read Motorhome magazine you will find that the old Chassis Mfg versus Motorhome Mfg. game is played all the time. You were very patient to wait 3 weeks; I would have raised H a lot sooner. Sad to say , I think that one has to be demanding in today's world to get a company to listen.

I bought a 06 Salem LA in Jan.. The front cap has become wavy and when I called forest river they "Second owner is not coverd by the orig. unit warranty." I have now went to the dealer United RV. They seem to be on my side.

Warranty work

We're taking our new camper in today to have the fridge fixed because of the recall. Also going to have it pressurized because it has a leak and we can't find it. We did not buy the camper locally, but the local dealer said he would fix it. We'll see how it goes.
