I think every body should have a badge awarded for participation...
Now the forum can finally be like Facebook.
I always read any post the chief forum administrator submits.
I've heard of that 'Facebook'. I asked my brother to followup on a marketplace listing since he has it. Turned out to be a scam, and brother got mad at me, concerned he got a computer virus from clicking on their nonsense.Oh............ What's that????.... I guess I will need to find out what a face book is........ I have heard you can buy cheap stuff on there....
Glad to see somebody has a sense of humor around here! Never change.Just to clear up any confusion:
- The forum will still be free for anyone to view or use.
- Any member with an RV LIFE Pro subscription will have an ad-free viewing experience when logged in, everyone else will see ads as usual. Those not logged in will see the most ads.
- Images will be much easier to load including, copy/paste AND they will be editable once loaded. This means the end of sideways and upside-down images, I hope.
- There will be a like button and a thanks option on every post.
- Mondays at the Tire Shop: we will be online Monday and the one after. You still have time to show up at the tire shop and have your goofy behavior enshrined in a post dripping with ridicule, pity or head-shaking bafflement.
- Emoji's = yes.
- Empty posts = no.
- Weight Police posts = unavoidable.

I know what you are saying... but... I hope not.
Unfortunately the FROG Forum and the Cedar Creek Forum on FB are REALLY bad. There's so much misinformation and cross posting from folks who do not have the same unit as in the asking post.
I visit about a half dozen (or maybe a few more) R/V sites and this forum is by far, the most helpful and the best for getting REAL, ACCURATE information.
Its only downfall was being stuck in the antiquated software and now that's going to be addressed.
My thanks to all who make this a good place to be if you are an R/V owner.

There is a FROG Facebook page that is not actually operated by FROG they are in the process of trying to either end that page or at least renamed so not to add to people's confusion.
In the 80s I was a Cubmaster and giving those Participation Awards at the Pinewood Derby.I've got a bunch of those in a closet somewhere from when I was a kid in the 80's.
So are we actually going back to having a mobile app with this update????
Responsive for mobile use: There is no mobile app needed. XenForo has a mobile view that is entirely responsive to device size. Use a browser to open the site and you'll have a good view. You can even set an app-like icon on your phone (really a bookmark)
New functions:
- Image handling will be improved. You can still upload images in the usual way but will also be able to simply paste directly into a post.
- PMs will be labeled as "conversations"; same function, new title and tada: images can be added to these conversations.
- There will be an updated and improved table editor and new tools for great-looking replies to posts.
- New Albums to hold images in your profile if desired
- New OP badge to denote the Original Poster (thread starter) of a thread - handy for long topics.
RV LIFE Pro Members
Ad free viewing for forum members who have RV LIFE Pro subscriptions. (Trip Wizard and the RV LIFE Mobile GPS) they will also have a cool new badge displaying on their profiles
Be patient after the site opens, it takes a little time to get settings dialed in, but we will bring the site back online as soon as possible (even while adjustments are still being made).
If you have any trouble logging in, please use the contact link at the bottom of the site to reach the help desk. We can help with account issues, and password resets if needed.
We'll all have a learning curve when the site updates, but we believe that the faster site response and more robust features will be a great improvement.
