Fred and Bob were out on the lake fishing, like they did every Saturday.
Bob had anchored in his favorite spot near the bridge.
After a couple of hours a funeral procession begins crossing the bridge.
Bob stands up in the boat, removes his hat and places it over his heart.
Fred follows Bob’s lead.
After the procession passed by, Bob placed his hat back on his head, sat down and resumed his fishing.
Fred, being very touched by his friends’ actions, commented that this was one of the nicest things he had ever seen Bob do.
Bob nodded and said “It’s the least I could do”. “After all, we've been married for over 40 years”!
