Just got my B/U camera yesterday. While installing today I accidentally broke the male pin on the camera cable while pushing the cable into the housing. I contacted Furrion customer service to see if it was OK to splice the cable. They recommmrnded that it not be spliced. I asked about sending the camera back to have a new cable installed and was informed that they had no repair facilities as everything is made over seas and I would have to buy a new camera. I am not going to pay another $350 dollars. I guess I will splice the cable(solder and heat shrink). Anyone have any other suggestions?
