GE AC/HeatPumps and RV Airflow Systems

I’ll go out in a limb and answer the second question…I doubt they are installing the RV Airflow system in any rigs.

1. No

2. No...but they do have (2) pieces made up and ready to install if you call over there. We hadn't had a chance and I think GE wanted to do some testing after install.

I've installed them on my both of my GE heat pumps in my I5 and they make a tremendous difference in both airflow and sound. I can easily keep it 70 in Vegas at 110. My I5 is smaller of course. I did the same modification on my Winnebago and same great results.

PM me if you have any questions.

I added RV Airflow and soft starts to both GE units on our 2023 XL. Huge difference in airflow and much quieter, probably 50% quieter.

I just installed them in my 2021 XL with Coleman-Mach units. It is pretty amazing. This afternoon it was 95 here and with just the rear unit running the entire coach was at 74. No way the would have been possible before.

We took the diy path, but regardless, the hack made a huge difference as others note. The only manufacturer I know of installing these at the factory is Grand Design.
