Hello everyone!
Coming home yesterday, I noticed a crack in the front window of our Geo Pro. It starts with a small chip on top but moved it's way down and to the driver side. It hasn't reached the other side yet but the crack is pretty long. Maybe around 6 inches down and another 8 inches do the side.
Few questions:
We got our trailer only 6 months or so ago, can this be repaired under 1 year factory warranty?
Is there something I can do myself, short or long term?
Is there any harm in just keeping it this way?

Thanks!

All the factory info says it is like a auto windshield. Two plates of glass with a laminate in between so it does not shatter. You should be fine as is unless the inner glass is compromised just like your car. I would think it will need to go back to the dealer if they are set up to replace something like this.

You could take it to a glass shop and see if the cracks can be stopped.

I doubt that it can be replaced under warrenty. It is not a defect in the part. It was damage caused by use.

I just ordered a window cover to hopefully prevent this from happening to mine.

Here is a posting on different window covers that people are using.
