Geopro 19FD slow drainage kitchen sink

Hepvo

Just in case:
One thing I did see in this video is that the ribbed part of the hepvo pipe section should be down at the bottom. If it IS a hepvo trap, don’t start jamming things down the drain.

Good luck!

Kitchen sink drainage fix

I have a 2023 FDS and I also had the sink problem. I was at the F.R.O.G. Rally in August and the techs fixed it quickly. It has something to do with the way the pipes connect under the shower. They took off the panel in the bathroom at the base of the shower. I would suggest calling Forest River techs and have them guide you. It only took them about 20 minutes. Good luck!

I have a 2023 geopro 19FD AND I am experiencing a slow kitchen drainage.

I checked for clogs in the sink’s pipes and removed any debris.Inspected and adjusted the P-trap. Emptied the gray water tank to ensure it wasn't full and contributing to slow drainage.
Replaced the air vent with a new one (I also took it off and it still drain slow).

Tried hot water and RV-safe drain cleaner to break up any internal blockages (I discovered no blockage).

I also run a 'snake' on the pipe, but the drainage is still slow.

Anyone has experienced a similar issue before I take it to the dealer?

Thanks for any help/advices.
I have a 2023 E-Pro 19FD with the exact same problem as you describe. All drains are normal, except the kitchen sink. It has been that way since new.

I found and fixed my slow drain myself today. It was the result of sloppy workmanship at the factory, but is an easy fix.
The P-trap under the shower was inserted way too far into the Wye that joins the shower and kitchen drains. The tail of the trap almost completely blocked the flow from the kitchen. I cut it three inches shorter and completely solved the slow kitchen sink drain issue. Incidentally, the trap under the kitchen sink way too long as well, so I shortened it by about two inches.

A sink full of water now drains in just a few seconds.

so there IS a p-trap under shower, good to know, i figured it was a Hevvo waterless trap, such little clearance. guess I need to put antifreeze in that one, i thought it was waterless like my kitchen sink trap.

Yes, it is tight under there, but it is a p-trap just like you'd typically find under your bathroom or kitchen sink.

How did you get access to "Wye that joins the shower and kitchen drains"? I am assuming is on the shower side. Please let me know. Thanks

In my trailer, there is an access panel at the base of the shower. It is even with the shower drain. What i did was used a blower to blow the water out of the trap, so I wouldn't dump its contents under the shower. I unscrewed the compression nuts connecting the trap and pulled itt out and away from the wye. When I did this, I immediately saw the trap was far too long and was extended all the way into and across the wye.
