My 2019 Georgetown 36B5 heaters work normally off batteries. When hooked up to power or running on the generator, the heaters won’t kick on but the A/C fan motor runs instead. Weird, but electricity baffles me. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

What type of heaters are you talking about?
Tank heaters, water heater, furnace? Makes a big difference.

Ok, now we can check some things.
Does it work on shore power?
Does the fan come on in the furnace when you call for heat at the thermostat? If not have you checked it fuse?

Furnaces do not work on shore power
First call for heat, furnace fan comes on then shuts off after a few seconds then the AC fan comes on. Same for both systems
Second call for heat and just the AC fan comes on

Sounds like it might be in your thermostats.
Do you have a single thermostat that controls each furnace individually or one that controls both?
Can you set fan speed for the A/C? If so, try to set to auto and A/C fans should not come on.
You might also try to unhook from shore power, start heat on battery then reconnect shore power and see what happens.
Might also reset (reboot) thermostat.

Has two thermostats.
I’ll try the AC fan speeds and connecting shore power after the heaters come on with batteries tomorrow
How do I reset thermostats?

You will need to look at the manual or google the model number of the stat to find that out.

You are welcome, glad it worked.
And thank you for coming back and letting the forum know the outcome.

Ah ha! Resetting thermostats worked. Appreciate you taking the time to help me out Dwilcox
What exactly did you do? A 2019 has the thermostat that I attached a pic of, doesn't it? If so, there is no "reset" function I know of.

A 36B5 has two propane furnaces, a 20,000 BTU in the bedroom and a 35,000 BTU in the main living area, each controlled by its respective thermostat. The propane furnaces and that thermostat are 12 volt DC only.

A 36B5 also has two roof unit air conditioner/heat pumps. When on shore power or generator power the roof units are powered up. If you simply select Heat on that thermostat then the heat pump in the roof unit tries to run. When the outside air temperature is below roughly 45 F the roof unit heat pumps automatically shut down and the propane furnace automatically starts up. If there is roughly a 5 F difference inside between what the thermostat is set to and the inside temperature then the thermostat automatically turns the propane furnace on to raise the inside temperature more rapidly and then switches to the heat pump.

You can force the propane furnace on by pushing the Furnace button on the thermostat.
