I just upgraded from a 2000 Dutchmen Ultra-lite that both my wife and I really liked. It was a nice little trailer, but I couldn’t see dumping $3-5,000 into a 20 year old trailer to replace the roof. I found a sweet deal on Craigslist for a 2020 Forest River Wildwood 171RBXL. The owner and his wife made 5 trips last summer with it and then he ran into health issues and they had to give up the trailer.

The wife and I are looking forward to some adventures this spring and summer. I just wish that generators were lighter so that I can accommodate my wife’s need for air conditioning. Until they do it puts boon-docking expeditions off until fall when it’s cooler.

I see that Forest River is just as cruddy as Dutchmen is when it comes to documentation.

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum.

Looks like you'll be looking for electric/water sites for the summer. And, yes, documentation is sparse. It's usually appliance manufacturers manuals.

Welcome to the forum. Most campers come with generic manuals. Not much help.. There are a lot of knowledgeable folks here to help with any of your questions. Enjoy and :signhavefun: Later RJD
