Help! Leaving tomorrow and have a macerator issue

Help! leaving tomorrow at 6am and seem to have an issue with the dump station. Just to preface this, we are brand new owners of a 2021 DX3 37BH, and first time RV'ers of any kind.

I went to the dump station today and placed the macerator hose into the dump site port. When I opened the black water valve and turned on the macerator pump switch, the macerator hose had big leaks EVERYWHERE! I turned it off and shut the valve.

I now wanted to revert to the 4" gravity feed port to complete the process. This meant removing the cap that was already holding back a bunch of waste. I used a garage bag around it to remove the cap and drain the fluid. Used the bag to drain into the dump station. I then hooked up the 4" hose and placed the other end in the dump station port. When I opened the black water valve, not only did it flow out the 4' pipe (good), but also the 1.5" macerator hose (bad).

I've gone to 3 different places around me to get a macerator hose but all need to be ordered and we don't have that time.

So the question (finally), isn't there a way to use the 4" gravity hose without it also going to the macerator hose? I don't see an independent valve anywhere.

and I thought his fix was pretty good solution.......... to get out onto the road by the 9th

unlesss....
should we be following the constant drips of yukk somewhere along a quiet country road in Texas

CopB8, if you are looking for a source of good free trustworthy basic first time RV information all the way to servicing systems, try the RVGeeks, I still reference them. Peter and John have info from what TP to use all the way to generator servicing and everything in between.
Thank you. I'll give them a look.

I finally got around to installing this. Here is my take on the emergency shutoff for the masserator line in the event of a hose leak so you can use a standard hose. Parts above in an earlier post on this thread.

I see that you solved this temporarily. I'm probably not the first to suggest this, but when you're doing the permanent repair, consider including a 1 1/2" gate valve to the elbow in the line before the hose.

I found this spring the first time I ran the macerator that it had died over the winter, would not spin at all when turned on. Rotating the impeller a few times by hand resulted in it being able to run under its own power but sounded wrong. So I replaced it and included the suggestions here to have a gate valve, both on the 1.5” and on one of the 3” outlets. I picked the rear 3” outlet for the valve (handle barely visible in the IMG_3001 picture) figuring that would keep it mostly out of the way until/unless I really need it.
