Help me, Help you....

Ah, gotcha. No...I think at one time we sent out a welcome letter, but we do that up front now as there were times that you would need that info before the welcome letter arrived.

The dealer is supposed to submit the delayed start on the chassis. We try and stay on top of that, but I am not sure if they send anything out or not. normally what happens is if you take it in for service and they do not show it registered, we have the local dealer submit. Dealer should submit the WAR27?? form. If you shoot me your VIN I can send it to Freightliner to see if the dealer submitted. Office lost power today so I am at home.

My 2017 Isata 3 is equipped with a waste hose holder featuring a diameter just large enough to accept the standard drain hose without the quick disconnect fittings that would comprise the complete hose assembly. Is there a larger replacement tube that would fit the same access door? Thanks for the support!

I purchased the 50/100 version from D and W Inc and it works great. It spans the entire width of the coach and has a door at each end. I use Rhino hoses and keep a 15’ hose on one side and a 20’ extension on the other.

The extra length and shipping cost as much as the product but it’s well worth it.

I looked at the Valtera but it was so short I would have had to fabricate a mounting point under the water tank. I was able to adjust the D&W to exactly fit the vehicle and run screws up into the sidewall for a simple clean installation. I did put in a simple hanger at the midpoint but I’m not sure it’s necessary.View attachment 175372

I concur. Bclemmens is truly a valuable asset to our community. He is always willing to stand up an be blasted by the bad and good of our issues. There is only so much he can control however. Thanks for being on here Brian!:trink39:

Sometimes a RV dealer can order the part from his parts house , that can be cheaper than online deals.

Having to Work with Dealer Now on Parts...Let's See How It Goes

Contacted Dynamax parts today re ordering a custom sized drawer front to add a drawer below our washer/dryer cabinet. This would replace the louvered panel. Told I have to work with a dealer. Have to say it was pretty easy working with CJ in the past, but we'll see how it goes.

Was under there adding the outlet you see in the back of the compartment for the central vac I won in the raffle at the rally. Was going to put the vac in this area but decided to put it elsewhere and use this area for a shoe drawer. Our shoes runneth over every trip out. :D

Plenty of room for a 6" deep drawer above the water pump.

I tried to order a rear window through CJ a couple of weeks ago and was told I had to go through a dealer as well. Called the dealer 3 times and finally got a quote; paid for it over the phone while I actually had someone on the line and asked them to drop ship it to me; no word yet, and, as of today, my credit card has not yet been charged.

They did say it would be 3 weeks or so, so hopefully they're just waiting until it ships to run the card...fingers crossed.

I'm sure there's a million reasons not to do it, but it would be sweet if Dynamax was direct to consumer.

I agree and we tried for a while. Corporate policy is through the dealer, we bucked that system, but it only takes a few bad experiences to ruin it for all and then the issue was "when do we and when don't we" and expecting those guys to make that call on a daily basis became too time consuming. So we had to make it black/white.

Either way, I would have told you to go local for custom anyway. If its not "in the system" as a part with a part number then. I think I left the stain name a while back that we get from Native Hardwoods.

Also, as cherry ages it changes color. best to have a local place match the current color.

Thanks Brian. I forgot that you had posted the info on Native Hardwoods. Looks like they not only do the stain, they make the drawer fronts too. Now I just need to source the drawer handle and I'm looking good.

Just ordered this drawer on eBay. Came with the slow close glides included for $95. It was the perfect size! 22" wide, 21" deep, 7.5" high. Should get a lot of shoes in this drawer. :D
Rick at Native Hardwoods is getting me a quote for the drawer front tomorrow. Now I just need the part number for the drawer handle from CJ to have the dealer order one for me.
Like we say on the "A" Team (A for Andy of course) -- "I love it when a plan comes together!"

I found mine tuck away in a cabinet.

They are not standard on the sofa with a pedestal table. You can order them through the dealer. They are only standard when there is no other table (IE, recliners in place of sofa and there is no dinette). Although some people have gotten them accidentally.

Thank You!

It is so nice to meet you on the forum BC! Traded in our Airstream and Silverado for the Dynamax and are Looking forward to our adventures and relationship with the great Dynamax personnel.

Needed to simplify our adventures after a 6-month road trip last year, made us realize that hooking/unhooking, setup and needing certain type campgrounds was such a nightmare. We loved our Airstream/Silverado combo, but know this new unit will make us “camping ninjas” in the future. Having owned 4 motorhomes, 4 Airstreams and now our 5th motorhome the Dynamax Series 3 - it’s our retirement vessel of choice😎

Just to follow up, I received the window the other day. Turns out, going through the dealer wasn’t a bad experience at all.

BC,

I've been having a serious issue with my dealership not completing my warranty claims. We bought an Isata 4 in June from camping world. They are coming up with every excuse not to fix warrany claims from the PDI. We have been very patient but are done being patient. I know you stand behind your company and would appreciate some help to pressure the dealership into completing the warranty work so I can fully enjoy my purchase.

Thanks

John

I can unequivocally state with a certainty that Camping World and its service department lies and does everything in there power to avoid doing their job. You only need to google camping world reviews to see the many thousands of horror stories that they have perpetrated against their customers. They ended up keeping my toy hauler 6 months past the estimated 1 month it would take to repair warranty items. The generator was destroyed by mouse infestation and it had to be completely rewired. They completely denied it was their fault. Their behavior is what gives the industry a bad name. F#{€ Camping World!!!!!
