Help With Exterior Maintenance

Hello I have a 2017 Forest River Cherokee wolf pup 16fq. The vinyl cover located in the corner channels at the front of the trailer is damaged and cracking. What is the proper term for this stuff and can you please tell me where I might online order some replacement? Is the process more involved than just removing the old stuff and sliding the new stuff directly into the channel?

Any RV dealer on even on-line, you'll be able to find Rolls of Vinyl Covering for that channel. There are 2 different widths if I recall and you'll need to know which one.

It's available on Amazon and eBay. More color choices on eBay, I think.

Putting it in the channel is very straightforward. Terminating it at the ends may not be.

When you put it in the channel, be careful not to stretch it. In fact, compress it lengthwise and stuff it in. Why? Because it shrinks a little and you will have gaps at the ends if you are not careful.

On a vertical run like yours, you don't care if the bottom end is open--water runs downhill. Sometimes the top end is stuffed under the metal retaining track and everything is covered with a mess of caulk. If this is the case, it will be difficult to replace it exactly as it was done at the factory. Let us know what you find.
