Hello everyone,

I'm new to the RV life, but I'm an excellent survivalist and camper, so this should be fun. Fingers crossed there are no big issues with the trailer I just bought (2024 Salem FSX 266BHLE). I make content for the you tubes and a couple podcasts, so my biggest issue *should* be internet. It'll be my service dog and I in the camper full time. I'm going to take the bunks out and make that my computer/podcasting space. I really like the layout of this unit. I don't understand why the ladder is an extra add on, but I plan to mount one permanently. It makes no sense to have to store a ladder somewhere when it should be on the back of the unit. Anyway, I look forward to the adventure and the inevitable migraines caused by the trailer.

Welcome! I follow a bunch of the fulltimers on YT and the socials. There seem to be so many options to get signal to a camper. Lots of opinions, too. I agree regards the ladder, seems like an inconsiderate way to save a few bucks. I’m thankful I already had a collapsable ladder and didn’t have to shell out another couple hundred bucks. Cheers.

Thank you for the welcome messages. I'm sure this forum will be a great resource when I have questions about the camper. There are many different perspectives on things, and the way I see it; the more informed I can be the better.
