Hi there from Colorado I am new here and new owner of a 5th wheel

Hi all, Glad to have found this place, It looks pretty cool from me poking around and reading some of the posts.



So my wife and I have RV'ed before in a Class C in YellowStone about 3 years ago through RVShare. We had a great time with the family and she pushed for a popup.


We started poking around and a long funny story later we traded the Jeep Grand Cherokee in on a 2500 Dodge Cummings short bed, and purchased a 2020 Rouge Armored 371a13.


The Truck is new and we put a spray in bed liner in it, It was packaged from dodge with the 5th wheel puck system and we have a slide right 5th wheel hitch ordered through the RV Dealer.



We have not taken delivery of the unit yet as the hitch has not come in and there was a recall on the two front jacks and one of the rear jacks needed to be repaired.. So we are awaiting parts from Forest River.



Oh, about me I work from home for a fortune 500 company and was a law enforcement officer previously, My wife and I have two kids 13 YO Girl and 11 YO boy. We are looking forward to traveling around during the summer months mountain biking and other family activities.

LOL, Yes totally a Garage Queen... HAHA my truck wont fit in the garage let alone the rig.



We are looking forward to taking delivery I was told yesterday that parts have been shipped and install should be quick so I am thinking the end of next week.

I am fortunate, in that we constructed a RV garage so we have inside storage.

Thanks, looking forward to see how the 5th wheel pulls, I have bumper pulled many boats in my day but a 5th wheel will be a new adventure, beside driving a full tractor trailer a couple of times.
