I hope to soon be getting info on the horrible small round headlights on my 2017 FR3 32DS coach. I have the mfr telephone # along with their part number and the Forest rivers part #.

I will post the manufactures specifications on the candlepower output etc. , the cost to replace the lights that are installed in my coach now and any info on a brighter light the mfr may carry to replace it.

I have not been able to find these headlights available anywhere in the U.S.

It Would be really bad if they both went out while on the road.

Or if someone vandalized your coach and busted both headlights. You would be at the mercy of FR again to get them.

FR says they need to be ordered from a dealer. Not from the factory.

The dealers tell me they would be special order parts and have to check with FR to get pricing. Then they need to be shipped from FR to the dealer and then to me . SOUNDS LIKE A VERY SLOW PROCESS TO ME !!

I hope to get info soon.

My lights are so bad, I never want to drive at night.

With the specifications from the original mfr of the light, I hope to use this info to find a similar size motorcycle hi/lo beam headlight that performs much better.

I am on a mission to find a replacement headlight with more power to illuminate the road.

Have you used the search function at the top right of the page I seem to remember someone changing out their lights for brighter lights. I think I remember reading about it about 2 months ago. Hit the search and see what you find.

Bob....

Here’s a picture of the front of my 2010 Georgetown.
Are these the same pitiful lights you’re talking about?

Small Headlights

I cant seem to attach a picture, so look up a 2017 FR3 32DS motorhome to see the style of headlights my coach has.

Install Finished

Lights are great. Had to re aim the lights . Very little room to work in. So I purchased a small tool at Home Depot that helped a lot. I put a 5/32 socket on it to (1/4” drive) The 4 adj screws have TORX style ends on them and the socket fits them perfect.

I am including pictures of one of the adjusting screws, the new socket holder tool & pictures of the headlights in the dark on low and high beam.

I will probably order the relay harness for the lights also, but they work fine as they are now.
