Hi Everyone! I am brand new to camper life, my camper is at a permanent site at the coast in NC.
We didn't turn the propane on all spring, summer, early fall. We did use the hot water heater so presumably it was running electric. It worked great. Last month we turned on the propane for the first time to run the heat. At the same time, the hot water heater now wasn't working as well. The water was just as hot, but it wouldn't even fill up the kitchen sink before cooling off. I could hear the hot water heater making a clicking noise, I am presuming it is the pilot light or something to do with the propane. It isn't continuous, I just could hear it click. So my guess here is that there is something with the propane part of the hot water heater?
Would it have automatically been running on electricity and then once the propane was turned on, it switched to propane only? Because when I shut the propane off, no more hot water.

THEN I noticed the DSI Fault light was on. Which I have no idea what that is.

After a couple of days, I replaced the propane, and afterward went in and turned the hot water heater back on. and the clicking happened, but this time it was multiple times and seemed louder, and then a POP! and the little metal door for the hot water heater on the outside of the camper was blown open. I quickly shut off the HW heater and the propane. I was getting ready to head home anyway.

So now I am getting ready to head back down to the camper in a couple of days.
What do I need to do?
