I just bought a nice used 24 Forester 2351 on Chevy chassis and I’m wondering how the side view cameras should work? I can turn on rear and sides manually but I can’t figure out how to get the side cameras to turn on when you use the turn signal? PO didn’t know and no manual came with it.

did you buy this vehicle new? the sideview cameras views should be visible through the Rearview monitor.

all manuals are available on the FR website under owners' tools

the review mirror should show the two-side view and rear cameras at the same time. if you want to isolate one of the camera views you should be able to toggle through on the rear-view monitor.

Which radio/camera does the 2024 Forester have? The online manuals show two possibilities.

If it is the 10.1" Sony XAV-9500ES it's possible to disable the turn signal switching in one of the screens. The Sony Owners Manual, of course, does not mention this or show how to get to that screen but the setting is called "interrupt" as I recall.

That page in the online manual: Owner's Kit
