So, we just purchased a 2019 Berkshire 39a. The prior owner swapped the Inverter to a new AIMS 3000 LF Series unit. But I am more than stumped on a few issues. So, the first was that the interior remote panel does not work, however today I think I figured that one out. They had installed the panel using the original phone cord wire that only had (2) pins rather than (6). Now, anyone know an easy way to chase a new wire from the inverter box that's hanging beside the shore/gen power transfer switch up to that panel inside?
The next issue is the unit just doesn't seem to work right, today I plugged the coach in to my shop & I get no power unless the inverter is switched on. I guess that normal? Gen or Cord power must go thru the inverter first to get power to the coach?
So, it ran for half the day like that with the Green AC Mode light on, but I noticed that the Fast Charge light never went off.
So, I turned the inverter off for a bit however when I restarted it, the unit just stays in Inverter Mode now... If my cord is putting in 125v why doesn't the inverter just run on AC Mode?
I have also noted that when the Coach is running off Inverter Power, Fridge Breaker is off, but as soon as you turn the Microwave on it kicks the Inverter off. I would certainly think a 3000w inverter would run a microwave?
Don't really see that I would ever use the Inverter, can I just take the input wires & output wires off the inverter & wires those together to just bypass the inverter all together?
