Isata3 Steps won't retract fully...

Ever since I bought our 2021 24RW a year ago, the RV steps would not retract fully on its own. I need to use my foot and give it a little help. Then it retracts just fine. Anyone have experience with precisely what is going on here and how to fix it? Thanks. Tom.

Yes, mine does the same thing. So I use some silicone spray lubricant and spray all the joints and any thing that looks like it will move. Then it works fine for a while. Mine has a sticker that says lube it monthly. Usually I try to do it before each trip.

Have 20224 Isata 3, had same problem. The instructions say to use a silicone spray, and do quarterly. Used silicone spray but still having problem. Went to Dynamax factory for other repairs and mentioned to repair team. They sprayed with 3-in1 oil, especially the farthest in joints - not had a problem since - 6 months….
