Here's when we went to Florida to visit our daughter late January 2025 in the snow at Tyndall AFB panama city , with her 2 days later being the first swimmer in the Gulf of America, (well maybe)

On the way home from Florida stopping at the Mississippi Welcome center for a little free camping.

Stopped off in New orleans LA, at Bayou Segnette State Park nice place to camp and affordable, went down to bourbon street and around there, it was crazy, cops everywhere, traffic was crazy, military type units in the streets traffic was nuts, Didn't realise Super Bowl was a few days away. (forgot to get a picture of our rig, here is our site though.)

Swung through Texas Stopped by Martin Dies Jr. State Park, nice place. Picked up my DAV Texas pass for a lifetime discount.

On our way through New Mexico stopped off at Dancing Eagle Indian Casino drove in paid 22.00 dollars full hook ups and drove out next morning not bad.

You won't be doing any sailing here for a while but you can see what the original creek/river flows. COE site sails it is a good sailing lake. Dam work.

Stay away from site 11. They wedged it in a corner against the road and the picnic table is situated like an after thought. Wide open spots mostly and decently spaced.

Yep, rocks are the lake shore.

Major state park two miles away, other parks nearby. Some sites right on the river, definitely not cramped.

Little Cedar Creek Campground, Ridgeway, SC. Site #5. Great overnight stopover just off I-77.

Summersville Lake Retreat and Lighthouse Campground. Mt. Nebo (near Summersville) WV. Overnight stopover but one of our favorite places during the summer months. The owners and camp hosts are super nice folks!

Piney Bay COE near Russelville AR

They say Loop E against the lake will take a 30 foot camper but I was not going to chance it. Host said he has seen larger units in there. Pretty sharp turns into tight spots with most spots shared by a short entrance and then a turn into your spot.
I went to B loop.

Piney Point COE Campground on Wright Patman Lake near Texarkana. We had reservations at Clear Spring COE and the day before we were to leave home, I received an email saying our reservation was altered “due to closure”. We hastily made a reservation here.
