Jenn-air convection stovetop not responding

RV gurus,

Our Jenn-air convection stovetop stopped responding to the touch panel inputs. It will turn ON, but the temp controls don't engage. Tried the troubleshooting tips, Reset the AC power, clean stovetop, etc., but no love. Comes on but no heat and doesn't allow temperature setting. Had to bring out "Old Faithful" single element stovetop).

Has anyone else encountered this issue, and short of replacing the stovetop is there something else to try?

Did you mean induction stovetop? just wondering

Sea dog, your a genius!

It is induction, just put a pot on the burner and it came right back to function. Funny, but it used to come on without a pot.

Regardless, DW is not happy that now she has no excuse not to cook!

Great they do require a pan with some ferrous metal in it.
