1. We have a 2022 Berkshire XL 37A. So one morning I woke up to water dripping from the A/C vent above the head of the bed. I removed the vent cover and felt around and there was water pooled in there. We soaked up the pooled water and stopped using the bedroom A/C for the rest of that trip.
On this rig the A/C pan does not flow by gravity through a hose. There is a pump that drains it. During the build they did not secure the pan hose to the pump fitting with a clamp. The hose obviously came loose from the pump fitting with all the bumps and rattling of travel. So preventative tip or simple fix if this happens to you.
2. We were traveling with friends who have the exact same rig as us (different color scheme). They were following behind us on a travel day on I80 headed to Spearfish, SD when I looked and they were no longer there. A radiator hose had blown off and they were stopped on the shoulder, their tow car covered in radiator fluid. A mobile mechanic came and made the repair and they were back on the road within 2 hours.
During the annual service on our RV I asked that they check all my hoses. They found three that were loose.
As I mentioned, just two things I thought I would share just as FYI.
Safe travels!
