last year, i snapped my kitchen faucet. The plastic post that holds it in snapped in the center. this year, we decided to hook the water up. knowing the valves were off, We hooked up the water and testedthe 2 other sinks as well as cleaning the lines. All was well for about 20mins, and then the part that turns the cold knob blew off and water was geysering out of that and the hole for the faucet. After a lengthy clean up, i used the shut offs right under the sink including the one thats right out of the water heater(3total) and proceded to intruduce water back to the system. this time, none of the sinks produced water. i turned the one out of the water heater back Open and tried again, this time water came from the faucet opening. not as pressurized but flowed enough. i would like to replace the entire faucet kit but it doesnt seem like a quick swap.has Anyone out there experiance something similar? Is there something i did wrong? but mostly, any tips on removing the faucet, as the underside is almost unaccessable
thanks!!!

Sorry for the issue.

You will need a basin wrench to handle the nuts on the underside of the faucet. There is likely not much room for conventional tools. That is after you figure out how to twist and bend your body into some form that will uncomfortably fit under the sink. A pillow will aid in dispelling some degree of discomfort.

Disconnect the water lines, and have a towel handy to wipe any spilled water, especially that on your face. Using the basin wrench, remove the old faucet nuts and then the faucet remains from the top of the sink. Lefty loosey, rightey tightey.

Reverse the process to install the new faucet. Remember; tight is good, too tight is broken.
