if I wanted to know how to "eat right" I would click on the add without it flashing....but an add that annoys me NO WAY. my 2c ..... I know web owners can do what they want to make money, but maybe you could tone down the flashing part...very annoying while scrolling this site.

I've never seen what you describe.
Are you using a computer or a smartphone or ________????
If a computer, what browser?
If a smartphone, are you using the app or Tapatalk or a browser or ________?

Mozilla FireFox and Ad Block Plus = None of the Above

Never see an Ad and definitely not a Pop Up Ad :D

I use safari and the only add I see is one between the two green bar with the user stuff on them.

I see the ads, never had any that flash. But the really scary thing is that the ads seem to be tailored to me--like, I was looking on TireRack for new sneakers for the truck, and suddenly the TireRack ad, WITH THE TIRES I WAS LOOKING AT (and currrent price) is up there frequently. It's a little creepy.

Websites track you and as you browse they leave "Cookies" in your browser.
You can go into your privacy settings of your Web Browser and tighten up a lot of the security settings to help with that. Also, you can usually set your browser where a lot of your history, tracking information, etc.. is erased each time you close the browser. Or, simply use "Private Browsing" in FireFox.

There are lots of things you can do to help leave smaller footprints as you travel the Web, but in my opinion almost nothing you can do to be absolutely invisible.

I get this advertising below "popular tags" on the right third of the page....icomfort serta mattress playing right now...before that "fanfaze" which ran 30 second videos.
don't understand why I am the only one getting them...on my pc.

I've seen them a few times. Just google and install Adblock for whatever browser you are using.
