Forest River Berkshire 2015 RB 40XL. Just de winterized our motorhome and noticed water coming out from under the refrigerator. May have a busted pipe. How do you turn off the water going to the ice maker? If it behind the unit is there a way to get it out? Thank you.

Just found a shut off under the sink. Will that help? We do not use it for water or ice.

Moved thread from the Tech and Repair section to the Motorhome section's Berkshire sub-forum for better help from other Berkshire owners and possible factory support.

The shut off valve with the brass is for the ice maker water supply line to the refrigerator. Twisting that valve shuts off water to the refrigerator and that is the only way to turn water on/off to the ice maker. There may be a solenoid valve inside the refrigerator that may have failed causing the leak. Shutting off the supply line with that valve should be fine and stop the flow to the refrigerator.

Water valve on the refrigerator is most likely plastic. May have retained water, which froze, and busted the water valve. I would pull the refrigerator out so as to access the back, turn the water on, and find the leak. Could be a split plastic or copper line as well.

Whether we use it or not, I hate things that do not work as expected.
