Light fixture covers

I just purchased a 2013 Rockwood roo and want to take the covers off the light fixtures to clean them. The books I have don't tell you how to remove them and I'm afraid to push or squeeze to hard.

I had a similar problem when I replaced the stock bulbs with LED's. It seemed to work best when I pinched about half way up, one side, then pulled or slide it back towards the end. I had a heck of a time until I started pinching (a little) then pushing up and back/out. Good luck
