Hey folks .. as mentioned earlier, I have a factory order in for a Rockwood Mini Lite 2511s.

How well do the power stabilizers work? I know they are not unique to the mini lite. Any tricks to using them? With my manual stabilizers on my KZ Vision 19rbs I can crank them a bit to lift or drop a tad to get level. The sales person said not to do that with the power stabilizers.

Any comments, ideas and advice welcome. Looking forward to delivery, though it may not be until May (I hope by then).

Thanks

I had them on my 2015 gray wolf. If used to try and lift some , the breaker will blow.
It was a self resetting type and in 5 sec I could try again. But you can get them taught and I did like the fact I had a switch on the front and the back. So only had to hold them to make left, right do their job.

I like that they pivot so when one side touches down, it stops and the other side touches down. They are not meant to lift, only stabilize.

stabilizers

I have them on my Jayco 23MRB and they are just ok. I bought 2 scissor jacks that I use behind the rear wheels. They help fine tune leveling and add a lot of extra stability. If I buy a different trailer the power stabilizers will not be a necessity.

'stabilizer jacks' come with many units and do very little 'stabilizing'. I (as many people do) added permanent scissor jacks to the front and rear of my unit and almost never use the 'stailizers'

Stabilizer jacks are just what it is meant to be, Stabilize. The manual says once the jack touch ground or blocks than hold for no more than 2 sec and this should do it. You will not bend the jacks as some folks have done by tring to help level trailer. The more blocks you use to build up and the less you have to extend the jack makes for a very sturdy trailer. I have used this system for years. Later RJD
