Thinking of upgrading to a lithium battery in our 2024 Rockwood Row so we can boom dock more than one night if needed. All solar attachments are there just need to know what battery people recommend.

you going to get answers from a lot different prices

average price will be around 200 -250
what ever you get .... get ones with bluetooth

I would go with average prices and look how LONG the seller has been selling them
less than a year ... NAHHHHH skip that one

I bought Elfhub on Amazon 200 each last April
4000 miles and they still work
but if you intend to use a Inverter look at brands with a reputation of powering Inverters
you might pay about $50-100 more

Solar
to work good you need at starting solar setup of around 400-600w
I have 2 panels x 370w each ... fits nicely
50 amp mppt
2x 100ah elfhubs
spent around $1000.00

I only use solar to charge the battery... boondock on battery and solar only
only use 120v shorepower when I want air conditioner
Have save almost $450 this year on camping fees

Moved thread from the Modifications and Updates section to the Electrical, Charging Systems and Solar sub-forum since the OP's questions are specific to that particular sub-forum.

My mh does not have big storage spaces. I can only fit two in the battery compartment. So I chose the Litime mini 100ah batteries due to its size and weight. I have another compartment next to the existing battery compartment that is ideal to fit two more mini batteries. I like the portability of the mini ones in case I need to unhook it to take with me to locations where I need to power my portable inverter.

I've had it for almost a year with no issues even though I have drained it to zero volts twice!

I paid more when I bought them. It is much affordable now, especially during holiday sales.
Imo, it's a good investment.

If your batteries are mounted outside your rig, I'd suggest to invest on good battery shackles to protect your investments from thieves. A theft deterent is better than nothing....how do I know?
...my brother lost his old batteries one day.
