Lug Nut Size

I want to get a socket to torque my lug nuts on my 2004 Cardinal with 15" wheels, but I'm not sure what size of socket these lug nuts would need ?

Can anyone tell me ?

It is most likely 3/4"/ 19MM for 1/2" studs. Either will work however you should make sure to get a 6 point deep socket with a thin wall. Most standard sockets won't fit in the wheel's lugwell.

I keep a folding 4-way in the trailer for back-up. It's compact and is plenty strong. I just like using a standard socket and torque wrench initially, that way I know they're all even at the correct amount.

I'm sure you guys have checked to be sure the four way fits the wheel lug opening/nut.

I could not use a four way on my wheels/nuts as the socket part is too thick to go between the wheel lug opening and the nut.

I've never seen a thin wall six point socket that didn't fit the wheels/nuts but have seen several four ways that didn't.

My point... be sure to check fitment BEFORE you need to use it.
