Magic Chef Microwave Replacement

Hello All,
I have a FR Sunseeker 2850 with a dead Magic Chef microwave model MCG1311 and am unable to find replacement with suitable fit. I don't care about the microwave so much as a clean fit. I am hoping someone has encountered and found suitable replacement. I have been browsing all about and lots of microwaves out there but not good fits for my opening.

Close but no cigar

we had a 1/2 time oven in our Lex retro fitted with the High Pointe convection microwave from Rec Pro . It comes with a new trim piece to fit the oven if the dimensions fit. We had to add a piece of wood under the micreowave to get it to line up other than that removed the old and bolted in the new. Amazon sells the Rec Pro products as well. lists as Rec Pro but actually Hi Pointe. Check it out good luck.

Try the RV salvage yards. That's the kind of thing they are likely to have.

Microwave replacement

One other thought - open the case of the dead microwave.
There should be a fuse either on the control board or inline with the power cord input.

Have had happen once, fairly simple fix and easier than trying to fit a different model in the existing cavity.

We have the Magic Chef microwave in our TT and had the white version in our kitchen at home. When the one at home died, we looked all over for another and found one at Home Depot. We got a slightly larger one, but, the next size down was the one that we had before. You may need to keep the bezel from the old one, but, it might fit. I believe it was a .7 or .9 cubic ft. model. Maybe it will fit your space.

Galanz Microwave Air Fryer COmbo

Our Magic Chef dies=d too. The clip that held one end of the fuse broke. I found the Galanz fit perfectly.

I had to modify the bracket to get it to hold the microwave in place, but a bit of hacksaw work and a couple of Pop Rivets and it looks good, works well and we are extremely pleased.

Many thanks to all that replied.

I tried the suggestion from Quilter3446 and pulled microwave apart and sure enough it was the 25amp-250V fuse. $2 fix and everything is like new.
