We will be taking our new PT Tracer out for the first time tomorrow for a long weekend of camping. Needless to say we are pretty excited and will update everyone when we get back.

Enjoy! I will also be headed out this weekend to boondock and fish for trout with family and friends.
Folks,
We had an awesome trip. Spent three nights at Kerrville Schreiner Park in Kerrville, TX. We had no issues at all with our new rig... everything worked just the way it was supposed to. I do have a question though... do the Tracers have a furnace or a heat strip? We actually had to run the heater for awhile saturday morning to knock the chill out, and I never heard the furnace start up even though there was warm air coming out of the vents. We had a great maiden voyage and I will post up some pics as soon as I figure out how to do it.

Trailer was great...fishing okay....time with family and friends great..the rest was terrible....
5 inches of rain on Saturday made boondocking muddy, high wind at 4 AM Sunday blew and broke EZ Up tent, got stuck in the mud pulling the trailer out of the area, park ranger made me fill in all the rutts made by me and all the others (4 other campers that had already departed). Dropped my iphone in the water so pictures are gone. Sorry.
The trailer worked flawlessly. My daughter caught a nice 17 inch Brook Trout and I caught 20 Brookies.....I will never go camping there again if it is calling for heavy rains. Had to quit fishing by lunch. Floodiing occurred later that afternoon.
There are no heat strips in the Tracer product - only a furnace.
