Missing stovetop glass piece

I bought a 2018 Rockwood A122s ESP that was supposed to have a glass top for the Surburban 3 burner stove. It has the two swivel hinges at back and rubber protection mounts at the front. CW dropped the ball on this. I called Surburban and was told they only sell whole range tops with the glass and only to dealers, ha, ha. Anyone know where I can snag a glass top?

The model is Surburban SDN3. Thank you but Amazon only has the entire stovetop replacement and we only need the bi-fold Corning glass cover. I’ve looked most everywhere on line. We might have to visit the overrun supply parts warehouses in southern Nebraska close to Elkhart.

Southern Nebraska and Elkhart are 100s of miles apart...................

Good catch, Oaklevel. I meant Southern Michigan. We RVed through there a few yrs back. We went through 3 overrun warehouses like a kid in a candy store. Thx

Tom….here are two of our favorites, but many more around the Elkhart area. I was told they buy the over production items from many manufacturers in that part of both Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan. They store items in large warehouses stacked on high shelves practically to the roof. Some easy items are in their front building but for older items you may have to “browse”. Out back the are also disassembling parts.

Personally, I would make a new top of metal or wood. The glass top was just an accident waiting to happen. I had to replace all the little rubber bumpers to stop the glass from hitting the metal. Glass in pretty but....

There's probably a good reason why it's missing. Those glass tops are notorious for shattering. My son had one in his Keystone Cougar and it shattered for no apparent reason after two weeks. The dealer replaced it and inside of a month it shattered again. The dealer attributed it to cheap tempered glass under stress, as others have failed as well. The dealer finally replaced free of charge, the entire oven with another model without the glass top.

The hardware are replaced parts for this tol are ridiculous. I ordered replacement hinges and hardware and was quoted $45.00…prior to the tariffs. When inquired about the cost I was told that they are reproducing them so stock is limited.

I’m with Fred…I plan to make one out of lexan or cutting board material possibly…it’s a future project…depending on how long this one lasts

Ours is a two-burner with two pieces of glass hinged such that if you fold the forward piece back over the rearward, the hinge bolts hit each other! Putting untold stress on the hinge and the glass holes! Might be the worst designed thing I have ever seen in my life. Crazy.
