Put the tire on your balancing machine and spin the tire to get an even coat. :ROFLMAO:

This one is about how messed in the head people are, and how they cannot take self responsibility for anything. Guy comes in with a Nissan Cube that according to him, I repaired a tire on, that the tire went bad. It was my fault according to him on this tire I repaired....3 and half years ago that he got stranded. (he had the invoice that showed the date October 2021)

It was also my fault he couldn't get to his spare tire in the back hatch cause some guy had ran into him a year and a half ago.... that he never got fixed and couldn't open the back hatch to get his spare out. He would have never needed his spare if the tire I repaired hadn't blown out.

He bought a used tire somewhere else and wanted me to reimburse him for the tire and towing fee. I asked him if he was serious or was this some kind of joke.

He was serious but his thinking is a joke......and I kinda told him such in so many words and facial expressions.

I had that look earlier today. Let me get time to type it up.
Guy comes in yesterday gnawing on me that he only got 60,000 miles out of his 100,000 mile tires before they wore out and wanted me to adjust them. He tells me how dissatisfied he is with "my" tires and would make sure to tell everyone he knows if I didn't adjust them.

Now the fun begins.I get to tell and also show him on his receipt that his $80 dollar tires were rated for 50,000 miles and he only bought two of those from me whereas to even get a mileage prorate you have to buy 4 at the same time, then keep a proper rotation record of same.

He then changes tactics (aka lies) and says I told him they were 100,000 mile tires, which made me laugh. I assured him his memory was real bad as I would never say such as I don't stock a 100,000 mile tire. Told him he may have me confused with another dealer or Wal-mart which his other two tires on his vehicle came from (but I knew they also were 50,000 mile tires).

I then try to salvage a sale out of him but should have known he didn't have any money for this scam he was attempting. He then told me he didn't have any money after he saw his fake dissatisfaction and lies were falling on deaf ears. It also may have been that look I was giving him. As he was leaving I did have to get a remark in (I guess for my wasted time dealing with him) and add for him to make sure he tells everyone how my 50,000 tires are good for 60,000, so are better than advertised. That's when he gave me a look but just bit his tongue. I smiled but it was fake.

Customer tale #2, also from yesterday was a woman who came in right as I was closing the doors, with a flat tire on her vehicle. She wanted to purchase a used tire, and I opened back up and did the deed quickly. Now the fun starts when it's time to pay.

Her debit card declined. She acted like she was transferring funds with her phone, but the card still declined. She said she would bring my money back today as she didn't have any cash on her or anyone who could bring her money

This is actually a known scam for people to come in right at closing, cause they think you will want to leave and will agree to their terms so as to not stay even later and do more work, when they can't pay as in taking a tire back off. Most of the time I make them pay first, but you have read before where I do get in a hurry and don't charge beforehand.....and it try to bite me.

However, her idea didn't go as she thought. I told her I would take my tire back off and put her car back on a flat, She could leave it here till morning and go get the money to pay me. I started to jack her car back up when it happened...... the miracle money mojo.

She found some cash in her purse. The mojo still works. LOL

He must have thought 50K per tire equals 100k, when added together.

That would have been such a great comeback. Why can't I think of this stuff in the heat of battle? I guess my mind gets just too focused on trying to find some object to throw at them.

Thankfully money mojo still works! I was going to question it reading about customer #1.

I am just biding my time until I can repay the local Nissan dealership the customer they sent me (said very sarcastically). I know why they did it after dealing with him. He has a newer Nissan vehicle that has a separated Hankook tire on it. These are the original tires from the factory. He is wanting me to adjust it since I am a Hankook dealer, but I cannot do such. The Nissan place already told him they can't do anything about it so they pawned him off on me.

He is a rather unpleasant person who thinks he can demand things....or that is at least what he attempted to do with me.

He was stating that Hankook and the Nissan dealer told him I "had" to give him a free tire. I laughed at him. I knew Hankook wouldn't say such, and do doubt the Nissan dealer said as much but they did mostly likely pawn him off on me to get him away from them.

He didn't want to take "NO" for the answer but I finally got him to leave after much swearing and demanding from him.

Oh, and if you are wondering why Nissan, me, or anyone else wouldn't adjust his tire......it was separated where he had stuck multiple plugs in the tire himself.

I just talked to the most honest crook ever. Guy calls up on phone with a VOIP number showing on caller ID. Tells me this is a courtesy call as he is on his way to disconnect my power.

He is trying to get me to call a number he wants to provide me so I can avoid this. I tell him I don't need such as I have an app on my phone that shows me my electric bills. As I am opening the app to see what possible problem there could be (as my bill is autodrafted) it occurs to me that this is a scam. He is telling me that I "have" to call this number to get it taken care of cause the app or computer won't be able to stop the disconnect.

I now have my app open and there is no balance on my accounts, and all is good. He is still insisting I call this number he is trying to provide me. Before I tell him I have no balance or even that my account is autodrafted....I just directly ask him "Be honest, have you ever found someone stupid enough to fall for this BS (used different term) you are shoveling?"

He paused for a bit, as I guess he was trying to figure if he should give up or press further. He gave up. He replied "You'd be surprised" while chuckling.

I kinda chuckled back and said "Probably not". I then asked if it would be worth my time to even try and find out this number showing on my ID. He told me it would be a waste of time, which I retorted back, that I figured as much. I did tell him he was going to be on the internet though. He didn't say anything and I let him ponder on that.. as I hung up and raced to my computer to make my words come true.
