Want to say hello and possibly make a contact or two with other 20.3 owners. (Chattanooga, TN area)

My wife and I owned a 2006 TravelStar Hybrid for a few years and love the RV life. We sold the that camper a few years ago and have been looking for a replacement for some time now. We finally decided on the No Boundaries 20.3 and purchased a 2025 this week.

This will be my first time using any type of newer equipment that comes on these campers and am curious if there are any NoBo owner here that would be willing to share some advice.

Thanks

Hi and Welcome to FRF.
If you do a search in the Ibex/NoBo sub-forum, you'll find tons of NoBo owners and probably others that own your model number.

Welcome to the club. I have a 20.3. So far so good. 1 warranty issue done so far but other then that it has been pretty solid so far.

We've had our 20.3 about 2 yrs now. Message me if you have any specific questions and maybe I can point you in the right direction. My advice would be to try everything in your driveway before you venture too far. There are a couple of must-do mods that you'll want to address. 20.3 with beast suspension tows nicely but your gas mileage will be abysmal.

We are looking at purchasing a 2024 20.3eo - what are the must-do mods you’d recommend?

I would say to add additional hinges to the murphy bed. It only has 2 which isn't good. You can get a centering drill bit so the holes are perfect. I've seen a few people add a pop up outlet on the counter top but we haven't had the need yet. We swapped the bed too. The one it comes with is no good. Other then that it's been pretty solid. We're just weekenders so we have tried to keep it stock. But we have the normal one so I don't know what yours doesn't have.

1. Replace all the USB outlets with better units off Amazon, they are cheap and make a big difference in charging.
2. Replace the bathroom faucet with one that moves the spigot further out so you can wash your hands :)
3. Consider switching to LiFePo4 batteries so you have more reserve power for that hungry 12v fridge. I also moved ours inside.
4. Add a rear view camera. If you're handy, you can pick up and install one for a little over 100 bucks. Makes driving safer and much less stressful.
5. Add a freshwater drain valve in place of that plastic cap. Many use a Pex washing machine brass valve.
6. Weight distribution hitch is a MUST. We use an e2 1000lb round bar unit, reasonably priced and works well. The fanatics will offer you several other brands I suppose they are also good.
7. Added another inverter outlet and can run the microwave off the battery bank.
8. Changed all the locks so a single key works for the entire trailer. Not hard to do and E Trailer had all the parts.

Did several things not for the faint of heart, like hard wiring a Progressive EMS to protect the trailer electrics. Many opt for a plug-in like the power watchdog, which I understand is also a good unit. Did some further wiring upgrades including an electrical repair of the furnace (note, if it's under warranty and you can spare the time being without the trailer, better to take to a trusted dealer)

eo's are a slightly different beast. We've not experienced any issues with murphy bed other than adding a foam topper. Avoided the popup electrical outlet as they are gimmicky when you can add a very short appliance extension cord to provide power to the counter.

We have 2 seasons use and probably 8-10k miles of towing experience.

Hi, I just bought a brand new 2025 NOBO 20.3 C-Series and took it out the first time during the Easter long weekend.
Here are a couple of the issues that bothered me:
1. Microwave trim was missing all 4 screws, it was completely loose, and the vibration caused the trim to rub damage the cabinet green paint. There weren't any pilot holes, QC totally missed it. I went to local hardware store and bought some black screws to fix it in place.
2. Front glass/windshield leaked during heavy rain, dripping slowly from the bottom frame/trim. On the outside, there is silicon caulking on the top and both sides, but not on the bottom of the glass. I suspect that is the issue, I'm considering filling it in with silicon to avoid the hassle of taking it to a dealership, any thoughts?
3. It was annoying to deal with 3 different keys for a single vehicle. This would be simply unacceptable is a car or truck. Is that normal on FR RVs? I had a KZ Connect before and all locks had the same key.
4. The sink doesn't drain properly with the knob in the open position. Yes the drain has a twist knob to open and close it from underneath, but it doesn't lift the drain high enough to drain water. That may need some cable adjustment I don't know how to do that. The sink just seems too complicated for what should be a simple drain.
5. Trailer frame is poorly painted and already rusting in several areas. The sticker shows it was manufactured in January 2025. I think this is poor quality, again unacceptable if this was a brand-new car. Now I'll need to plan and spend the time and money to wash/prep/spray paint the underside in the near future.

In spite of these issues, we truly enjoyed the new RV and we had a great time!
The internal layout is awesome, there is plenty of space and storage for a family of 4, and the high ceiling makes the space feel bigger and gives ample headroom over both bunk beds for our tall kids (this was a major selling point).
We plan to use it a lot and be an active member of this community.
First upgrade will be the rear-view camera, I'll post once that is complete.

Vinny, do you know that you can use an independent RV shop or mobile RV technician for warranty?
You just have to get pre-approval from FR and be willing to be reimbursed.

Oh, I didn't know, that is great to know! Thanks for the advice.

Des, can you give me ink to those USB outlets from Amazon? I would love to swap those out in my 20.3.

A funny thing, the control knobs on the stove were known to intermittently light up because of the bad factory USB outlets! I ordered these 2 years ago, but I suspect any higher power ones will do the job

I also added higher power USB outlets suitable for my laptop and other items. Some use the 'power delivery' or PD spec to negotiate the output.
