Last week we purchased a new Sunseeker 2350LE. Once we were home from the dealer we realized that there was no ladder for the overhead bunk. When we were shopping for RV’s the brochure for the 2350LE shows a bunk ladder. So my first question is…does anyone know if we should have gotten a ladder?

Also, just realized today that there is no spare tire. So my second question is, should this model come with a spare tire?

Third question, my DC panel is wired (and has the mini breaker installed) for the “Emergency Start”, but where is the switch? On a previous RV it was under the steering wheel in front of my left knee. Don’t see any mention of in the very lacking documentation supplied.

I have reached out to the dealer for some of this, but they are not very helpful anymore. Have also reached out to Forest River and am waiting for them to respond. Figured I’ll have better luck here.

Thanks for any info anyone can provide.

Yes, you should have a bunk ladder I’d fuss at the dealer for it. The LE line does not come with a spare tire but likely does have a mount underneath to add one. My 2023 did and I modified it by adding a winch to make it easier (well even possible!) to raise and lower a spare. The battery boost switch is on the side of the drivers seat pedestal. You can see it with the door open. Enjoy your new rig!

Thanks for your reply phalexander. I found the "hidden" emergency start switch right where you said it was. The Forest River rep responded this morning and confirmed that the bunk ladder should have been installed, and that as you mentioned, the LE does NOT come with a spare tire. Working with them now to get a ladder delivered.

One more question: Is the 2025 E-350 chassis prewired for a brake controller? I looked under the driver side dash and didn't see a connector for a controller, but I do have the 7-pin connector at the hitch.

Thanks again for any info.

Can’t help very much on your wiring question as I have a Chevy chassis. FWIW I’d bet money that there is a pair of unconnected wires under the dashboard near the steering column. Possibly an orange one and a black one but not at all certain of that. I’d look for the other ends of those wires in the wiring loom near the hitch connection. Maybe folded back in the loom but not at all certain of that.

Also, FWIW this is a photo of the winch install I did for my spare tire. It cost about $150 (several years ago) and I bought an aftermarket wheel online and an orphan tire locally to complete my installation. I bought my winch from Etrailer and they have a VERY detailed howto video

I really like that winch. Going to have to look into that.

FYI, I found the connector. It is located behind caddy in the top center of the dash.

the new 2350 does not come with a spare tire or a ladder. the emergency start should is on the driver side seat base.

Welcome!

Check with a Ford Dealership or a on line Ford Parts supplier. You can get a factory controller that the harness plug will plug right into. Then it fits right into the hole in the dash. Plug and play and no extra stuff cluttering up the dash. Also make sure you have the relay in the under hood power panel for power to the 12V line in the 7 pin plug if you want that. Sometimes they come with them already installed, other times you might find it in the glove box from the factory.
