New Experiences Ahead

Hello all..we just bought our first travel trailer and excited to get started. We are going to stay close at first and work our way further out as we get more experienced. I'm in my 40's and have never spent the night in a camper. My wife has much more experience as she camped with her family as a kid. Luckily my mother and father-in-law have plenty of experience and can show us the ropes to get us started. Checking in from the Land of Lincoln by the way.

Congratulations! I am sure you will enjoy! My husband had never “camped” either..his family grew up with a cottage on a lake, I grew up trailering. He initially bought an 18 ft for an annual once a year Dad and kids wknd, and before long we were using it together. He really enjoys it and has fine tuned storage compartments etc to his liking. We went on a big trip last year Ontario to Maine, staying closer to home right now due to his knee replacement. Your in-laws will give you good tips, as well as speaking with others at campgrounds. Enjoy!
