New here. 2019 Coachmen RV Mirada 35BH

Just purchased this 2019 Coachmen RV Mirada 35BH. Has 5445 miles on it. Coming from a Newmar Kountry Star 2005. Found bunk above drivers compartment not functioning. Looking forward to traveling with this new RV. Drove it an hour home from vendor. Felt so nice on the interstate, comfortable, not moving around in the lane.

Overhead bunks have a variety of built-in safety features for their operation, and there’s no one procedure that works for all manufacturers.
Whatever may have worked on your Newmar May have nothing to do with this model.
Did it work when you tested it earlier? Ever? Did you follow the manufacturer’s instructions?

Purchased the RV from a dealership. Since purchasing the RV, I had not tested the bunk. Contacted the dealership to see what to do. Just brought the Rv home this past Saturday.

If you did not have this feature demonstrated to you by the dealership, then you may have to wait for detailed help from someone with the same year, make and model of your motorhome. Did the call to the dealership help? Look all around your motorhome, cupboards and drawers. Collect all documents you may find for your rig, and build your own 3 ring binder to keep all information going forward.

Did not show us the use of this bed. Contacted the dealership, waiting on call back from service dept. Only a home printed document for the users manual. Not much showing in this. Still looking online for an actual manual.
