Just checking in to say hello. Moving up from a 11 year old Alpine 3450RL to a Riverstone Legacy 383MB. Been researching construction of all the units easily available in Canada at a reasonable price and just can't beat Riverstone from what I'm seeing. We looked at soant front and rear kitchen units looking for something better in a floor plan, but you know, this standard layout is still a winner, particularly when you feel the space around you and the amazing basement storage. We pick it up on the 20th and can't wait. Looking forward to interacting with all the other Riverstone owners to get ideas and solve issues. Would rather do it that way than see time go by at the dealer.

Are you biuying a new or used unit? Don't discount getting warranty work at your dealer. Some are very good at making repairs quickly and efficiently. I agree that some small repairs are best done yourself. When we got our rig, we found that glue and screwdrivers were a necessary part of our toolkit.

Welcome to the forum!

We are buying new, last year's stock on their showroom floor. I've mentioned a couple little details already to them to fix up before delivery like the shower walls are a but loose at the edges. Easy fix for either of us I guess but this one has a lot less to deal with than another 391fsk we looked at. Big items will definitely be warranty, no worries there.

Welcome to the forum.

Please check out the RiverStone sub forum.

We are starting year five with our 38 FB and have had excellent support from our original dealer.

There will always be fit and finish issues that a few basic tools will resolve.

Enjoy your RiverStone.

I will, I just wanted to start here and say hello as there was no welcome mat at the sub forum.

welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. You are not limited to only asking questions in the Riverstone section.

Welcome form a River Stone owner with the same floorplan but in a much earlier year 38MB, check the floor as some owners have had issues with gaps and even buckling up, I know of 2 in a 39RKFB this has happened to. If it has a dishwasher, make sure it is plugged in and the water turned on as this has been missed in some. Open and close every drawer and cabinet for proper operation, sometime glides need adjusted, good luck and enjoy they are very nice units, we love ours!!!! :signhavefun:

Welcome! We’re loving our brand new RKFB. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we love ours!

Silly question: how do I find the Riverstone sub forum?
(Newbie here!)

If you’re using the full site, click FORUMS at the top and scroll down past motor homes to a list of 5th wheels/travel trailers and down to RiverStone. Your Welcome PM should have suggested you check out the list of sub-forums.
