We just bought a 24 Sunseeker 2860 and after 6000 miles we cant figure some things out, appreciate the help......

- you get two remotes, one is for the truck doors, the second one that says Forest River on it doesnt seem to do anything, we assumed it locked the side door but it does not

- anyone notice that windows at the dinnete and sofa seem to rattle considerably at highway speeds? I cant tell if its the screens or the panes rattling from highway turbulence, pretty annoying when you are at the dinette while rolling

- and lastly, the outside speakers. The inside stereo remote has a zone 2 which will play whats on the insode tv outside. I was hoping there was way to connect them via bluetooth to a cel phone to play music while sitting outside, possible?

Thx, appreciate it.

No idea what the remote could be for. You might want to call your dealer.

Could one of the screens be installed incorrectly? If you can't find the problem, it might be worth it to take it to a dealer to make certain the windows are installed correctly.

If your radio doesn't have bluetooth, there are aftermarket products that enable bluetooth... one example https://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-Tr...8df296b38f694c4211ae809d7b7&gad_source=1&th=1

Welcome aboard. Here’s some information you will soon come to realize……

Not all RVs are alike. Not even the same year and model because the manufacturers (in your case Forest River) get their components from countless suppliers, and will install whatever is available as the RV comes down the assembly line.

1. Are these two remotes exactly the same even though one says Forest River on it? You should have 2 remotes for the Ford entry doors. Have your dealer contact Forest River if they don’t know.
2. Not all windows are the same design. If you include pictures, other members might be able to offer suggestions.
3. Again, pictures help as to exactly what make and model of stereo you have. Did you not find manuals for a variety of your components in a drawer somewhere? You need to build your own owners manual collection.

Don't believe rattles or coach noises are.unique to a Sunseeker, which I have, but very often a noise that you believe emanates from one thing often turns out to come from somewhere else.

Check the window and screen operation. Locking mechanism and opening.and.closing. I've found from time to time my window locks rotate to the open position and the window slides open slightly. Rough roads can.do it.

My television is by Connex(?). Sorry, my motorhome is in the shop for warranty work and I am not sure of the spelling of the brand.

Anyway, if your tv has bluetooth capability go to main menu and select SOURCE. You will see bluetooth, select that option.

You should be able to connect your cellphone, just follow the prompts.

Since you have the remotes I'm "assuming" you have the NPS generator. Our remote, with the Forest River logo, has four buttons. The top, or first, button locks the cab doors. The second button unlocks the cab doors. Note: The remote has to be programed in to the OEM Ford locking system, along with the two Ford door remotes, for these two buttons to work.

The third button "1" starts the generator. The fourth button "2" stops the generator. These buttons need programmed in to the generator's AGS system to work.

We also have a small silver / black two button remote that is just a start / stop remote for the generator. This remote is a part of the AGS system.

You can download the NPS generator manual Here .

Did you find anyway to stop the window rattle? we just bought a 2020 forester and the window rattles and squeals when opened and closed like nails on a chalkboard.

OP has not been back in almost 2 months. Sometimes it takes a while for new members to check back, understand how to see replies, and get busy like the rest of us

I’m assuming you have the same connex 12V TV as we do….it can do Bluetooth and play through the outside speakers. Mine can anyway. I’ve not tried to operate the TV remote from outside but I’d not expect it to work. You can probably do something with the windows by first taping them with painters tape or electrical tape until you identify your issue. You might be able to shim the tracks once you know exactly what’s going on. RVs are inherently rattle prone and to some extent you just have to get used to it,

Check your coach entry door glass. My glass was installed.without any butly tape and it was.rattling glass on plastic frame for a year before I figured out where the noise was coming from.

Miracle the glass didn't shatter.

Welcome to the Forum and the FR Family

1. the remote with FR on it is for the New Auto Gen start we have been using now for about a year. that remote can be used to start the generator.

2. the connex TV does have two zones and can be connected to your phone via blue tooth so you can play music outside.

Looks like to op dropped out of sight . Last time on this site 8/27/24 Later RJD

Variety of reasons. People get busy. Don't understand the fourms purpose or community - there are "help" sites that are strictly transactional - hit it once then move on putting it in the rear view mirror.

Op may have figured it out and doesn't see the need to come back.

It's quite common. I can tell when a new member is about to become a contributing member and sees the value in the forum. They return to give an update. They show a willinness to learn. They ask questions. They may be thankful
