I am only a couple hours away from you in Texas and know exactly what your talking about. The family loves the RR so we went to purchase it, was 100 degrees and they had the unit plugged in all day, the hvac couldn’t pull the temp down more than 8 degrees, so we walked away very disappointed. Got a call and was told there was an issue with all the RR units and the dealer had a “bulletin” to retape all ducting and install a foam insulated shroud/box around portions of the hvac. Also, manager said they had checked the pressure coming out of the vents and “it was nowhere near what it should have been”. Manager promised they would get it corrected so I put money down contingent on it performing as it should (20 below ambient, with adequate vent flow).. I saw they had two customers RR undergoing the “fix”. I sent an email to Forrest River wanting to understand more of what was going on. That was two weeks ago and no response (website says 72 hour response) . There are other threads on this forum about the same issue. So I have my fingers crossed but will gladly walk away if they don’t get this figured out. I would call the dealer and ask about the “service bulletin”, curious to see if you get the same story I did..
